Dhikr Bookmarks and Magnet
A small set carrying three daily dhikr in Arabic and English: two bookmarks, a fridge magnet and an A4 framed print in a blush watercolour design.

The challenge
Short dhikr are easy to print and hard to make beautiful. The Arabic has to be set correctly with its diacritics intact, the translation has to be there without shouting, and the whole thing has to work at bookmark width.
The approach
One watercolour ground and one rose motif carry across all three pieces, placed in the corners so the text keeps the centre. The Arabic is set in a traditional naskh at the largest size the format allows; the English sits beneath in a small italic. The bookmarks split the three dhikr between them so neither is crowded; the magnet carries all three with fine rules between.
The outcome
Sold singly and in multiples through the Etsy shop, for Eid favours, Ramadan gift boxes and madrasah gifts.
