The challenge
An organisation's Eid card goes to civic contacts and neighbours as well as members, so it has to read as warm without being decorative for its own sake, and it has to carry the community's five words, Loyalty, Freedom, Equality, Respect, Peace, without turning into a poster.
The approach
The cover is one photograph of the Mubarak Mosque at dusk, seen through an arch cut out of a pale geometric lattice, with the greeting set small inside the arch. Inside, a second photograph of the mosque and the five words in their five colours sit on the left; the message on the right is set in a calm script with space around it. The back carries only the community's mark and contact details.
The outcome
Printed and sent as the community's official Eid card.
